Monday, June 29, 2009 "he's irish?! (imitates irish song)"
Posted by Deimi Brigitte at 7:48 PM
Am I going deaf?! ...because something whack happened in school. Patrimbo and I were doing our usual gossips and I finally opened up and hopefully, I don't get jinxed. Please, oh please, with cherry on top.

So the conversation went:
Patrimbo: He's in RI --
Me: HE'S IRISH!? (imitates an Irish song)
Patrimbo: Irish!? You're deaf too! I said RI!
Me: (pause) I thought you said Irish!? Irish... RI...

(then laughed like loons from looney-ville)

I don't how I heard Irish when it was RI. Well the first day of school was a bore, I can tell you that. After school, I couldn't stop laughing, I think I was high. Now I'm just looking forward to the November-December holidays. A few more months... endure, endure, endure.

I can never grasp the fact that the holidays are almost over. This is a time I hate the most, when the holidays are over and no mood to go to school and also a time where I do last-minute homework because I was too darn lazy to even do it on the first day of the holidays.

I could've done it yesterday but I was sick so there, another day wasted.

Haven't touched a single work. How gnarly is that? I really have to start doing something. I need someone to confiscate the computer, now.

My mom is coming back tomorrow, that's a good thing. I wish I was all ready for school... but I'm not so -- curse you. Hold it together now... we can do this, yes we can!

Monday, June 22, 2009 Ze ama-ZA-zing family raze.

I got up to get ready for the Amazing Family race! Patrimbo was carpooling us again. My mom followed me down and chat for a bit with Patrimbo's folks and off we went.

Then again, most of them were already there.

And from the looks of all the photographers and the equipments, I was sure we were having another photoshoot. In the canteen, was overwhelmed by Angel, Pat N etc. Hug, hug, hug. (yeah notice the amount of hugs at every YFC events/PAs) I think I blinked in one of the photoshoots...

So we started out with songs then guidelines and let the game begin! We were given the first clue. The teams were all colour coordinated; we were white. So yeah, the other teams were misleading other teams and all that. It was funny, and when we got off to the specific bustop, everyone ran out really fast to get to the MRT station. I can't really remember all the pit stops but it was all fun! ... and tiring. (let's do that again!)

I had tons of fun disturbing Patrimbo's little brother, running around like loons, dancing randomly and whatnot.

After the race, I ate out with my family for Fathers' Day.

(Photos coming sooooooooon.)

Monday, June 15, 2009 June PA meeting/Philippines Indepedence Day Celebrations
Posted by Deimi Brigitte at 10:24 AM
I need a day to recharge from yesterday's happenings. From the beginning!

In the morning, off to church with P, we missed the 1015 mass so we took the 1145 time slot. Perfectly aware that we just might be late for the PA meeting in Serangoon because the mass is an hour and wouldn't reach there on time.

After mass, took the fully-packed 800 to NorthPoint and bought snackages in 7-eleven and had a little trouble at the MRT station because Yssabelle couldn't tap through and missed a train.

Stopped at AMK to take bus 24 to stop at a walking distance to the place. The room was already full of YFCs. Hug, hug, hug then the PA starts. It started with songs then we got to play an awesome game. There was semi-violence to this game but we decided not to do violence. Afterwards, we did a sharing session and I had to go up but I told them I wanted P along on stage as well. Nervous breakdown!

Next, fellowship.

We had a cake especially for the June babies and then just started camwhoring and the Music Min. started playing the instruments and you couldn't help but just sing along really loudly. We headed down to the canteen to eat cakes, hotdog w/ buns, bread, coke etc. We also had to do this photo shoot for our YFC identification cards. Two shots, one formal and another one as a fun shot. It was bloody funny watching people do all kinds of poses but when it comes to your turn, you could just faint.

When it was my turn (after P) I didn't hesitate and just did it. I kept laughing about the fun shot. I made this stupid pose, really! I will not air the photoshoot photos here, too bad! Only the group photo shoot.

After that, I had to go meet my siblings at City Hall (with P) because we're going to Chijmes for the Philippine Indepedence Day celebrations. I didn't know the YFCs were coming then. So my sister treated us to BK before heading to Chijmes. The place had beautiful lightings and all kinds of performances.

I was everywhere! Here, there, with YFCs, with P, with my siblings. A long and tiring (but fun!) day, I must say.

Chaos at its best:

Saturday, June 13, 2009 Sentosa 2009

Boy, has it been so long since I've been to Sentosa. One word: HOT!

Anticipated that I would get a sunburn. Each step on the sand is excruciating. If you stand still, I think the sand can cook your feet alive, I swear.

P and I took a short stroll alongside the sea while the others stayed on the mats. The reason we got wet was because of Hidayah. So everyone got in the water except for the guys but they were persuaded and soon, they were in the water and had bucketfull of fun! We needed a ball to play with so Hafiz was kind enough to buy a ball from a nearby shop.

We were too busy having so much fun that we forgot the ball, and it got washed off to the very, very far off end of the beach so we had to swim off to get it.

Azfar wore my AWESOME shades into the water and throughout almost the whole day I guess.

We ate at Banquet and chillaxed at the Sky Park taking random photos and goofing off. Azfar took my camera (and shades) camwhoring from different corners. He just love my camera and shades, I know. We also did a dare for him but what stays there, stays there, it's confidential. On the way home, I was sleepy all the way, go figure!

Pppppicccctuuuurreeesss! (includes this morning):

(PS: More photos with Hidayah. Coming soon!)
