Saturday, May 30, 2009 "...do I get a lil sum' sum'?"
Posted by Deimi Brigitte at 8:53 PM
I didn't expect my day to be spent outside. I was hoping, like, pigging out at home. My brother was bugging me to go out with him because he needs an opinion to find a present for his love.

It wasn't so bad after all. First, we went to 7-Eleven to find the Chip & Dale stuffed toy that his girlfriend has been wanting. We were to come back for it later, and so Bugis we went.

We made a few stops before going to Iluma.

Peninsular(just outside) , Musical Instrument store(buy guitar strings), BurgerKing(starving!) and then to Iluma. I had no idea where Iluma was so my brother agreed to bring me there AND buy me anything below $20 in Cotton ON if I accompanied him, it was a pretty good deal. Why do I want to go to Iluma? I'm going to the Sims 3 Launch Party on Tuesday! *squeals*

From Bugis, we walked to Orchard so we could go to Cotton ON (he wants to buy a bag for her). Whoa. His girlfriend is probably spoilt by him.

Cotton ON Orchard was bloody full, so we went to SSC. He bought me a tank top and slippers and the bag for his girlfriend. Not forgetting Dale. Ahhhhhh! That made be a very happy girl. We didn't forget mom, so we bought a lil sum' sum' from McDonalds.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. I love my brother.

Most boring and confusing day ever... okay not the most but it really was boring and confusing. Firstly, we had to do this boring Gaming Survey that repeats the same lame questions again, and again.

Normal timetable from then on. Then the confusing part came, when we weren't sure whether we finished school at 12 25 or not.

But the dinosaur said we still have classes. She ended up being wrong when the History students came up and said we do end at 12 25... well that was pretty much a waste of time. We were just watching this video of an Ox-Bow lake being formed. I wasn't even listening, Azfar showed me two of his passport size photos from Secondary 1 to now.

I couldn't stop laughing, I told him the recent one, he looks very drunk and I tried imitating his face... but I don't know if I succeeded or not. Then we went to Patrimbo's house to see Liann! ...and we also had a really, reaaally long talk about my relatives. They say I have very interesting histories and relatives, I'm gonna have to agree with them.

Warning: Too cute for you to handle!

My nose had irritation right after Fairoz pinched my nose! I kept on sneezing from then on. Pay-back will be at hand, tomorrow, anytime and anywhere.

We planned to go swimming in Orchid Park Condominium after school when suddenly it started raining just as I got home. When I assumed the rain stopped, I was about to get my bag, it started raining again. Whoafyouck!

When the rain reaaally stopped, I went to meet P at the interchange and meet Hidayah in NewYork pizza in Khatib.

Insanity beyond this point:

I'm skipping the International Friendship Day concert; all I can say was that it was normal, nothing much. So on to the movie screening.

We were told we'll be watching a movie relating to Social Studies, so yeah the usual, groaning.

I have to say, we doubted the movie because it ended up being very, very interesting. The movie was called Hotel Rwanda. Rwanda is somewhere in Central Africa. It was populated by the Hutus until the Tutsis wanted to invade Rwanda. So there was pretty much a conflict.

It's a true story about Paul Rusesabagina's acts to save the lives of his family and more than a thousand other refugees, by granting them shelter in the besieged Hotel des Mille Collines. I'm not going to elaborate anymore because I have no idea how to explain. Just search it online.

I didn't get to watch parts of the movie because I had to go for Health Screening. I asked to be excused to the loo with Azaria and we didn't even bother to put on our shoes, instead, we ran like hooligans without shoes on... to the loo. Right after the health screening, I ran back to the AVA room (again without shoes) and wore my shoes inside.

We missed break-time actually, just for the movie, and no one mind (except for some).

In Subway, the line was ridiculously long but Priscilla and I still found a seat (lucky!) and went to order. Then this three students couldn't find anywhere to sit because they didn't reserve any and they were standing around the seats Priscilla and I reserved and then suddenly, the indian girl of the three sat down at our seats and just ate (giving the I-don't-care look). Her friends looked uneasy because we were just staring at them the whole time.

When we were almost done ordering, the three started rushing their food and taking their bags... and to think they weren't "scared" that we were coming. They left and stood around the trash bin and ate their cookies, how pathetic. As they walked off, I just kept staring at her (serious face) until they actually disappeared, ...she kept looking down.

They should know better not to mess with us.

My sister is back!

The only good side about her being back is that she brings home food and photos and now the household is back to its noisy self.

I stubbed my toe by the refrigerator door. Go figure! Mom woke us up at six but I snoozed for thirty more minutes before my brother purposely turned on the light and the telly in the room so I changed (while waiting for my mom) my brother and I was researching on mythical creatures e.g Hell hounds, Big foot.

..and this story that intrigued me though its not mythical but le fact. A giant anaconda swallowed a 10-year-old boy whole. I saw photos but I'm not about to upload it here, it's disturbing, if you do want to see it. Search it yourself, hobo, I'm going to bed!

(Looking at the photos made me depressed. I wish I was there.) weeerrrrrddddd.

13 more hours before my sister comes back to Singapore. The horror! Last time being able to camwhore using the webcam and having peace and quiet the house and fitting in a taxi.

My sister is coming back tomorrow morning and I am not excited.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I didn't miss her one bit. So does my brother. Last night, my aunty left for the Philippines and this has to be our second time being in the airport. Tomorrow will be the third. It's depressing because we didn't go to the airport to go overseas. Bullshit.

In the bus on the way back home, this old lady was sleeping. She was swaying from side to side. Suddenly she fell off her seat and my brother and I couldn't stop laughing that my stomach hurt. My aunty told me that I was once so young I would crawl under tables and squeeze through small openings and now I'm older and prettier. Flattering, much.

I want to go home and I mean the Philippines. Homesick as you know it.

Remember me and my group ditching the Scrabble Competition? Yeah, about that, we were given detention; gardening w/ Mr Poon.

Mr Poon finds entertainment punishing students like us.

P.E was retarded. A few minutes of serious-playing of Badminton with P until Azaria came in and we did "invisible shuttlecock" action. We did all kinds of silly ways of serving and didn't notice Mr Tham staring.

"Sisters?", and we replied, "No. We've been called that since Secondary 1.", and he said, "Same glasses. Same hair. Same way of thinking..." Yes, laugh it up.

Ditched MT class to go to the library with the CLB students. Benedict was being a total dick. I have no idea why he was sitting with us anyway. He kept on singing Sean Kingston and HSM songs. Corny as shit on a silver platter. He pulling out his third finger at us so as said at the title, it's not cool.

Then he called me skinny. I wasn't offended because I know I eat a lot, even you, through my previous posts but of course he's a total clueless douche. I called him fat and that was it. On the way to the canteen, he started pulling my bag down?

I had been tolerating his nonsense from inside the library and I was burning up. I asked him to shut the fuck up and smacked him eirjewiojreiwojr hard on the face with my bottle (still with water) and threw it at him. I ran back to get the bottle and hit him behind his back the hardest I could hit him and I quote from Patrimbo, "That's Daymi's bad side. She's even worse than Debbie. I hope you learn your lesson."

I'm the kind who tolerates until I can't tolerate any longer then I throw my rage. So you'll barely see me like that. Only with assholes like him and Yao Xin. I used my math textbook to smack his face. (like the icon "Fun with Steak.")

weeeeeerrrrdddd.

The whole day was retarded. I swear.

It's probably because Azaria brought the joke books she said she had. Some jokes made me laugh hard, some were so corny that it we still laughed, and some were so corny that I just pursed my lips and ask for the next joke.

We had to go to the AVA room for F&N again. Aza took out her joke book and starting shooting us with jokes again. We were so loud that the teacher had to hush us up.

Then P and I were making facing at each other that I laughed so hard, I banged my head on the table and got knocked out for a minute or so... mhmm. When I did wake up, my forehead was red. Then on the way out of school, I almost tripped on a ledge because someone infront was talking to me and I didn't see where I was walking.

Yeah... that's pretty much it. Besides me burning my toast because I was too busy blogging and that I'm drinking apple juice. weeeerrrrrdddd.

(PS: Went to Night Safari last time to show my aunty around. It's been years... like kindergarten.)

Wednesday, May 20, 2009 "...you're putting tomato on tomato!"
Posted by Deimi Brigitte at 5:19 PM
I really didn't feel like going to school today, it's such a drag. Firstly, we were asked to study our arse off, and now we don't get any post-exam activites, not even any break?

Instead, we're back on the normal timetable.

Worst of all, I had a major headache so I took a nap in Physics. We finally went to the awesome BurgerKing. We stayed there for a really long talking and suddenly I was bored so I spread tomato sauce on a slice of tomato that I took out from my burger. That explains the title.

I got home and my aunty said she made Carbonara so I was forced to eat a whole plate. (burp) I couldn't finish it so I secretly passed it to my brother to finish it for me... thank goodness.

weeeeerrrrrrddddd.

Posted by Deimi Brigitte at 7:22 PM
It is officially the end of examinations!

Fate did its magic today in Long John Silvers (GV) when Hidayah was sitting under a part of a ceiling that was leaking and the styro-foam looking ceiling was bulging, it looked like it's been collecting all the leakage and to collapse at any moment.

Hidayah decided to complain so she walked to the counter and... the styro-foam ceiling collapsed! Just as suspected, also, that's when I found out it was cardboard.

We had this long receipt, and I quote from P: "Daymi can think of so much to do with just a piece of paper!" Ayuni tore up my Timezone card (it's ancient) and was asked to put it back together like a jigsaw puzzle. It was harder than it sounds okay?

For our make-belief post-exam activities (sec 3, 4, 5 don't get any, bogus school!), I went over to P's house and her brothers and their friends were home but I'm kinda used to them so I didn't mind.

... eating popcorn, playing Halo/Fable/Spongebob Squarepants, being annoyed, watching Whose Line Is It Anyway and the Simpsons.

Another day that spelt F-U-N. weeeeeerrrrrrd.

Who would walk like a thousand miles, up and down, blocks to blocks, almost getting run over by a car just to help a certain someone with an apparently misunderstood relationship.

Us.

I know what you're saying, why follow that certain someone. The reason; because we care. All of this shinanigans almost made my friendship with my bestfriend fall apart.

We walked up the long staircase just for YOU, and all you can say was sorry, please don't be mad..!? It takes more than a sorry for me to forgive you. I am known for holding grudges. I saw your message, stop it, no I don't want you to kill yourself.

I won't ask you to do something stupid. I just want you to go through the same exact way we felt just walking around, ALMOST GETTING LOST. If you didn't want to care about us, why couldn't you thought of the guy who came with us. We apologized to him again and again for wasting his time and putting him into this mess. We're just lucky that he's understanding, he even insisted to accompany us because he said it is dangerous to have girls out alone.

It was a really stupid question to ask if I was okay...

About the title. There was this asian guy talking to his american friends in his "american" accent. Priscilla and I have noooo idea what he was talking about.

I went to church with Priscilla this morning, not forgetting his annoying older brother, Jon.

He ate like a pig in Subway, I was shocked he could finish a sub in a few bites and he took half my sub because I couldn't finish it! In Vivo City, we just window shopped and then sat down at Skypark with the seaweed I bought in Daiso.

I luuuurrrrrrvvvveeee seaweed!

We have had our eye on this particular group of people (not gonna elaborate on who they are) and there were 7 girls and 6 boys. The girls were camwhoreWHORES. I can't stop laughing just watching them hold the camera way up high and posing like a bunch of doodoos.

I was still eating my seaweed, and it felt like a stake-out, in a weird kind of way.

We called Debbie but her boyfriend hogged the phone and was really, really, reaaaally noisy... and annoying. The conversation goes...

Boyfriend: Who is this?
Me: Who is this?
Boyfriend: I asked first, who is this?
Me: Well I asked second, who is THIS?
Boyfriend: (speaks in Singlish)
Me: Let me guess, this is _____.
Boyfriend: What took you so long?
Me: Whaaa... can I talk to Debbie?
Boyfriend: There's so many Debbies. There's Debbie Raymond, Debbie Tan...
Me: (interrupts) I want to talk to Debbie RayMOND!"
Boyfriend: Who is Debbie RayMEN, I only know a Debbie Raymond (Debbie's laughter at the background)"
Me: Okay!!! Debbie Raymond."
Boyfriend: (Debbie whispering something to him) Okay, you have to say Debbie Raymond in a posh manner.
Me: What the hell!?... May I talk to Debbie Raymond? (english accent)
Boyfriend: Nononono...

... and it goes on and on. I shall now end this post by vanishing in thin air.

*POOF!*

(The conversation was cut short so that's not really the whole conversation... there was more.)

Webcam craze this past few days! Camwhored the whole night in my room while chatting. It was good clean fun. I hade my hidey hole (blanket over the laptop).

Today, Charlie and Alyssa were coming over to Syaz's house and I get to see them on webcam!

They came over really early so I wasn't ready. I still had a bedhead but they begged (from the webcam) you could see them kneeling down with their hands together so I agreed to webcam at 4. Syaz called so I could talk to them but I could barely hear them the whole time.

Of course, all in all, it was funnnnnn.

Me wants to do again, seriously, and I pray they can come here on the holidays. It shall be rijriogtjrioejtmemidmawesome!

*inhales, exhales* ommm... two more papers to freedom... ommm... why am I meditating... ommm...

I can imagine my reaction after my last paper... running out the classroom screaming with my hands out, "Hello freedom!" followed by a scene where I frolic and prance in some kind of field with lots of flaura and fauna... not forgetting the slow motion. Then a teacher comes up to ask me to keep it down because classes are still doing their exams. (awkward silence)

... I just made the most funniest mistake. I was going to Blogger when instead I wrote, "www.blogging.com".

What the rehabvndowpe. Anywaaaaaay, did you know my pencil case can be a potential bolster? After every paper, I would take a nap and hug my "bolster". I didn't think anyone would notice until P told me that she saw me hugging it.

The boys (well actually only two) started making kitty meows in class while you-know-who was collecting our papers. I just lurrrrve my class.

I thought maybe I should blog. Today was my geoggers paper. No comments about the paper so yeah.

Patrimbo is asking me to trade a potato with her in Restaurant City though I don't play at all, I don't want to give it to her. She said she needs it for some recipe and told me what recipe do I have that needs potato.

Way too lazy to check so I lied and said it was for Potato soup. I laughed my pants off because I thought it was a very hilarious joke but she found out there was no potato soup soooo... anyway, I made pancakes on my own. Now my house smells like pancakes.

To end this boring post, I'm proud to bring you photos from yesterday:

Day 2 of having no older sister at home. I am having the time of my life, really.

Did you know I can keep up lyrics really quickly? Yes, it is le fact. For example, my brother plays his songs out loud over and over again. In 2-3 days, I can sing the whole song with the right lyrics. Even my brother can be wrong at times and I have to correct him.

So he doesn't go ballistic if I know his favourite songs. My brother and I are known for random dancing too. My mom has disco songs and we'll just stand up (or unless we were already standing) and start dancing like loons. Well as you guys should know by now, my sister thinks we are childish and dance horribly.

Of course it's horrible, its random dancing. Besides, she dances like stick, unlike me and my brother. The jelly-like substances. I am now looking at old-school photos. Unglam to the max. I was a major camwhore then. I have gazillions of photos, holy crap-a-llama.

When I look at it now, I go, "What was I thinking!?" Here are some:

weeeerrrrrd.

Honk, honk, honk! Messa studied with douches in Starbucks, SSC. There's more photos from Debbie, it will be uploaded another day. So the photos tell most of what we did but not the most weirdest encounter of the day.

There was this old man that boarded the bus and was downright weird and has food stains and spit on his shirt. He was wearing a funny hat too.

Hidayah left her seat (beside P) but I didn't know why until later when the weird guy was walking really slowly to sit beside P. He was mumbling about something we couldn't make out and he was laughing and pointing. I couldn't laugh.

I just couldn't. I was pitying him.

The next stop, we stood up and moved to the front of the bus. I had a guilt trip the whole ride back to Yishun. Whoa.

(growns)...

(PS: Debbie was a total paparazzi when we arrived.)
