Sec 3 Camp (THE BOMB)
Posted by Deimi Brigitte at 8:00 PM
(...need a bit of "UMPH!")CAMP, CAMP, CAAAAAAMP! It was awe... awe... AWESOME! Keep your panties on! Day 1: Assembled at the Parade square at 6 30am. Boy was I excited, though, what spoiled my mood was when one of our classmate was VERY... very... LATE. I shall not say his name. (grumbles) So we ended up being the last class to reach the Ferry Terminal. We got introduced to our instructors, Sam and "Nemo" (says that's his nickname)... when we reached the terminal, we all rushed to the Check-In, and to the Ferry. It was almost full so we had to sit randomly, I got to sit with this 16 year old (our guess) german guy. I had a doubt sitting beside him when suddenly the mom said, "Don't worry, he's a good boy." ....L-O-L so i was like, "Uhm... okay~" in an awkward way. Like what's that suppose to mean? I don't get seasick but for some reason I was, when we were in the Ferry. When the ferry jerks, I got the tendency to kick something. So the german guy would look at me and laugh. I'd just smile sheepishly back. When we reached Indonesia, we had to go to a Check-out, then we boarded a bus to our Campsite. It's called Nirwana Gardens, Camp Able. Not bad really, we saw ponies at the corner. Then we had to pitch our tent so we did, with much difficulty b'cause in Indonesia, it is really WINDY and would make our tent fall. I shared a tent with Aza, ZhenPing, Ayuni and Prissy wissy. After that, we got changed for our first activity, Mangrove Replantation. We had to transfer a 1,000 whachamacallit mangrove plants into the boat. My arm nearly broke off their arm sockets. Then we had to take a bus to this place and ride a speedboat, I LOVED IT. It was so cool, seriously. 12 on each speedboat, so when I wanted to sit on the edge... the boat suddenly tilted. (AM I THAT FAT!?)... so yeah, I wasn't able to sit on the edge... :-( when we reached the destination, we met up Group B (consisting the express classes) and we were given our lunch. I couldn't finish it. Then we had to discuss about our cheer before going to another Mangrove Swamp, but this time, placing them into the icky mud! So we practically got all dirty. The guys made it worse by wiping mud on ME. UGHHH!!! (inhale, exhale) My shoes was all muddy, luckily it was my old school shoe ;-) was a mud-a-mania. Went back to the campsite to shower then we had our dinner! It was a little better than lunch. We had to use our own spoon and fork though. We had a briefing but I was really really sleepy and when I'm sleepy, I get grumpy. You do NOT wanna see my grumpy. Then we played Scavenger Hunt, which was SOOOO not like one. We didn't go find anything "hidden" we had to find props to our act we had to do about our school values, G.I.F.T.E.D (yawn) We had to prepare for Campfire the next day, each class had to have a performance. After which, we had our supper. Then, finally... WE COULD GO TO BED! (rejoices) I was so darn sleepy. We fixed our stuff and arranged our sleeping position in our tent. I slept at the corner. Then, we slept- Zzzzzz... mm... uh? OH! Sorry, my eyelids are gettin' heavy. I shall continue Day 2 and 3 tomorrow, loons. SLEEPY AS HELL! To be continued... |
